Background



Syn-Bios S.p.A. is a global leader in chemical innovation for the leather industry defined by sustainability, excellence and design quality. With a consolidated B2B audience of luxury brands and manufacturers, the company needed a strategic, digital-first identity able to communicate trust and innovation at scale.

Thinking



The identity was shaped around the company’s ability to transform research and know-how into applied innovation. The concept balanced rigorous precision with a refined aesthetic translating technical leadership into a visual narrative accessible to possible partners.


The design system had to bridge brand storytelling and product demonstration presenting Syn-Bios as not just a supplier but a strategic partner.

Thinking


The starting point was the brand’s hexagons of the logo. From its geometry, I developed diagonal grids, masks and structures that frame images and texts with precision.
Until now, Syn-Bios had relied on saturated natural imagery. My intent was to balance this with a dual visual register: inspirational moodboard photography on one side and clean, product-focused visuals on the other.

The social media identity positioned natural inspirations and finished applications alongside the primary chemical products.

Carefully calibrated palettes, typographic hierarchies and grid systems created a consistent framework.

Implementation



The modular toolkit was applied across digital platforms to ensure consistency and scalability.


Every asset was designed to highlight the brand’s image while anchoring them in real-world applications: from R&D breakthroughs to finished products in the fashion industry by using silhouettes.
